Chow Chow
Chow Chow is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. onions, 1 medium head cabbage, 10 green tomatoes, 12 green sweet peppers and 6 red sweet peppers, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Grind or chop vegetables; sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt.
Let stand overnight covered with foil.
The next morning, rinse and drain.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables. Heat to boiling.
Simmer 3 minutes.
Pack in jars and seal.
Makes approximately 9 pints.
