Chop Suey
Chop Suey is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 lb. veal, pork, lamb or beef, 1 tsp. salt (for each 1 lb. meat), pepper and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Brown meat in butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover meat with water; steam for 30 minutes.
Add 1/4 cup water to butter.
Add celery, green peppers and onion.
Cover and steam 5 or 8 minutes.
Combine vegetables with the meat.
Add mushrooms, Chinese molasses and sauce.
Add cornstarch mix.
Cook until boiling point.
Cook gently for about 5 minutes.
