Chop Suey
Chop Suey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. leftover meat (any kind leftover roast), 2 tbsp. shortening, 1 c. water, 1 1/2 c. diced celery and 1 c. diced leeks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Saute meat until brown in shortening; add water and celery, simmer 5 minutes.
Blend cornstarch into soy sauce and add meat mixture.
Simmer 10 minutes. Add mushrooms and bean sprouts and simmer 5 minutes longer.
Serve over cooked rice.
