Chocolate Velvet Icing
Chocolate Velvet Icing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 6 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. boiling water and 3 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan.
Stir until well blended.
Add boiling water, stir until well blended. Put on stove and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add chocolate and butter to mixture, continue cooking and stirring until chocolate and butter melts.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla, stirring constantly. Let cool a little.
Spread over cake.
