Preheat oven to 325°.
Coat bottom and sides of 2-cup soufflé dish or two 10-ounce cups with butter (1 tablespoon of butter). Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and chocolate in saucepan.
Add flour and stir until smooth, stirring continuously. Gradually add milk until thick.
Add salt and remove from heat.
