Chocolate Shake
Chocolate Shake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. water, 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa mix, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 1/2 pt. vanilla ice cream (about 3 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a heavy medium-sized saucepan, stir sugar and water over low heat until sugar dissolves.
Increase heat and bring to a boil.
Whisk sugar syrup into a small bowl with the cocoa.
Return to saucepan and boil 1 minute, whisking constantly.
Pour into bowl.
Mix in vanilla and cool completely.
Cover and chill until cold, at least 1 hour.
Pour chocolate syrup and milk into blender and mix.
Gradually add ice cream, blending each time until smooth.
Makes 2 glasses.
