Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and lightly flour two 8-inch layer pans.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Stir in sauerkraut.
Bake in preheated pans at 350° for about 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
