Chocolate Pound Cake
Chocolate Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine (room temperature), 1/2 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 5 eggs and 3 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Grease, and instead of flour, coat pan with cocoa powder, a 10-inch tube pan.
Cream butter and shortening.
Gradually beat in sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
Combine flour and dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and beat until smooth. Bake for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Next day serving is best.
