Chocolate Pound Cake
Chocolate Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter, softened, 3 c. sugar, 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 5 eggs and 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla on medium speed for 3 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time.
Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
Grease and flour a tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour 20 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
When cool, drizzle with a mixture of 1 cup confectioners sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla or 1 teaspoon rum and 2 to 3 tablespoons hot water.
(Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until right consistency.)
