Cream butter, Crisco in mixing bowl until fluffy.
1 at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour and measure.
Add salt and cocoa to flour and sift again.
Flour mixture alternately fruit juice to creamed mixture and mix well.
Do not overmix.
Add flavor and mix well.
Pour into greased and floured
10-inch pan. Bake in preheated oven at 300Β° for 2 hours or until cake tests done.
