Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, 3 tbsp. cocoa, 1 c. sweet milk and 3 egg yolks (reserve whites), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, milk and egg yolks in saucepan.
Heat slowly to a boiling stage, stirring constantly.
Add butter and vanilla and cook until thick.
Pour into baked pie shell and cover with meringue.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 minutes or until brown.
For meringue, take egg whites you reserved and beat in 2 teaspoons sugar for each egg white until stiff.
