Chocolate Pecan Wafers
Chocolate Pecan Wafers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs, well beaten, 3/4 c. sifted flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix shortening, salt and vanilla.
Add sugar and cream mixture.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add melted chocolate and flour. Mix in pecans.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Let stand a few minutes.
Press with a fork dipped in cold water. Bake at 325Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
