Chocolate-Peanut Balls
Chocolate-Peanut Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 2/3 c. sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 c. salted spanish peanuts, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and colored sugar (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Partially melt chocolate pieces in the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.
Remove from hot water and stir rapidly until chocolate is entirely melted.
Stir in milk, peanuts and vanilla.
Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper.
Chill until firm enough to handle.
Shape each into a ball.
If desired, decorate with colored sugar or candied cherries.
Chill again until firm.
Makes about 4 dozen.
