Chocolate 'n Oat Bars
Chocolate 'N Oat Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. unsifted flour, 1 c. quick-cooking oats, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter, softened and 1 (14 oz.) can condensed eagle brand milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350° (325° glass dish).
In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar and butter.
Mix well.
Reserve 1/2 cup oat mixture; press remaining mixture on bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes.
Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crust.
Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
Top with remaining oat mixture and press down firmly.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes.
Cut into bars.
Store covered at room temperature.
Makes 36 bars.
