Chocolate Fudge Pudding
Chocolate Fudge Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. self-rising flour, 2/3 c. sugar, 6 tbsp. cocoa, divided, 1/2 c. milk and 2 tbsp. melted butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix flour, sugar and 2 tablespoons of the cocoa.
Add milk, shortening and vanilla; mix only until smooth.
Add pecans.
Pour into greased shallow 1-quart baking dish.
Mix brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over mixture in baking dish.
Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over the top.
(This pudding, when baked, has a chocolate sauce on bottom and cake on top.)
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
Serve warm or cold with cream, if desired.
