Chocolate Fudge Cake
Chocolate Fudge Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. cocoa, 1 c. boiling water, 8 tbsp. butter, 2 c. sifted flour and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix cocoa with boiling water.
Add butter, stir until dissolved; cool mixture.
Sift flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Mix these ingredients slowly into cocoa mixture then add eggs one at a time, beating well.
Add sour cream and vanilla.
Pour mixture into greased and floured 9-inch Bundt pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350Β°.
Whip 1 pint whipping cream in bowl.
Add a little powdered sugar to taste and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
Makes a very light frosting.
