Chocolate Fudge
Chocolate Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. carnation evaporated milk, 1/3 c. margarine, 1 tsp. salt and 1 c. chopped nuts (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar, milk, margarine and salt in large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients.
Stir until chips and marshmallows are melted and blended.
Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Cool and cut into squares.
Makes 5 pounds.
