Chocolate Delight Cake
Chocolate Delight Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 stick margarine, 16 oz. can chocolate syrup, 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Beat thoroughly.
Add sifted flour and beat. Add chocolate syrup and blend well with electric mixer for a minute.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 35 minutes.
Test with toothpick. Do not open oven until cake has cooked at least 15 minutes or cake might fall. Cool slightly before icing.
