Chocolate Custard
Chocolate Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 heaping tbsp. cornstarch, 3 c. milk, divided, 5 heaping tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. water and 1 sq. cooking chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Dissolve the cornstarch in 1/2 cup of milk.
Heat 2 1/2 cups of milk in a double boiler.
Into a saucepan, put the sugar, water and cooking chocolate.
Dissolve over boiling water, then place on heat and boil for 2 minutes.
Add to hot milk.
When the mixture has the appearance of chocolate milk instead of plain milk, the half cup of milk and cornstarch is poured in.
Stir until slightly thickened.
Add the vanilla.
Pour into goblets and cool. Refrigerate.
Serve with cream.
