Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie
Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) bag (1 c.) chocolate chips, 2 c. pecans, chopped (or halves), 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. dark corn syrup and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Use prepared pie crust (Pillsbury all ready pie crust works great).
Heat oven to 375°.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over bottom of pie crust.
Top with pecan halves.
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla.
Beat well.
Pour over pecans.
Bake at 375° for 25 to 35 minutes or until top is deep golden brown. Cool.
Serve topped with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
