Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. light brown sugar, 2 eggs (1 at a time), 1 c. granulated sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour, oatmeal, salt, baking soda and baking powder slowly to mixture.
May need to use a heavy mixer or a wooden spoon.
Add grated milk chocolate, pecans and chocolate chips.
Roll into small balls and place onto cookie sheet.
Bake 375 degrees for 6 minutes.
DO NOT OVER COOK OR THEY WILL BE HARD. BAKE ONLY 6 MINUTES AND THEY WILL BE VERY MOIST AND CHEWY.
THEY WILL NOT LOOK DONE WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OUT.
Makes 55 to 150 cookies, depending on size.
