Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. soft butter, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
In large bowl, combine brown sugar, sugar, butter and shortening; beat until fluffy.
Add vanilla and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt, mixing it well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool 1 minute and remove from cookie sheet. Makes 4 dozen.
