Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. shortening, 2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. brown sugar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Mix thoroughly the shortening, butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
(For a softer, rounder cookie, add 1/2 cup flour.)
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
Do not overcook.
Cookies will be done even though they may look undercooked.
