Chocolate Caramel Cake
Chocolate Caramel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels, 1 small can evaporated milk, 3/4 c. margarine and chopped nuts (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Prepare the cake mix as instructed on box.
Pour half of the batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 10 minutes at 350Β°.
Melt the caramels, evaporated milk and margarine until smooth.
Pour over baked cake.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts (optional) and 1/2 package chocolate chips.
Pour on rest of cake batter and sprinkle with nuts and rest of chips.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
