Chocolate Bourbon Balls
Chocolate Bourbon Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. confectioners sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, 2 tbsp. bourbon, 3 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled slightly and 3/4 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, beat confectioners sugar and margarine until fluffy.
Add bourbon and chocolate.
Beat 2 minutes.
Stir in nuts.
Dampen hands and form mixture into 3/4-inch balls.
Place on waxed paper lined pan.
Chill until firm.
Roll half in cocoa and half in confectioners sugar.
Refrigerate.
Makes 36 balls.
