Chocolate Bourbon Balls
Chocolate Bourbon Balls is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. softened butter, 1 lb. confectioners sugar, 1/3 c. bourbon, 3 c. pecan halves and 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate sq., this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream 1/4 cup softened butter.
Gradually add the sugar alternately with the bourbon, beating until thick and smooth.
Shape measuring 1/2 teaspoons of mixture in small balls using sugar on hands if necessary.
Press a pecan half on each side of ball and chill.
Melt chocolate with 1 1/2 teaspoon of butter in top of double boiler.
Dip one end of each candy in the chocolate and put on cookie sheet covered with wax paper.
Makes about 2 1/2 pounds.
