Chocolate and Cherry Ring Cake

In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt.
In another bowl, combine eggs, oil and vanilla.
Add to flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate pieces and nuts.
Pour mixture into a greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes.
Remove from pan; sift powdered sugar on top of cake.
Makes 12 to 14 servings.
