Chinese Winter Soup
Chinese Winter Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. diced cooked chicken or turkey, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. chopped celery, 3 c. shredded cabbage and 1 c. mushrooms, thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Saute celery and mushrooms in butter until crisp-tender but not browned.
Add cabbage; saute for 3 minutes.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in water; add to vegetables.
Mix well.
Add soy sauce, water chestnuts and chicken to mixture.
Bring to a boil.
Cook gently, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
