Chili Rellenos Bake
Chili Rellenos Bake is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in just 52 minutes. Made with large can (27 oz.) whole green chilies, c. grated monterey cheese, c. chopped green onion, c. grated sharp cheddar cheese and eggs, beaten with 3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Place a layer of chilies on the bottom. Sprinkle with 1 cup Monterey cheese and 1/4 cup green pepper. Repeat this layer.
Mix the remaining ingredients except the Cheddar cheese and pour over the casserole.
Top with the Cheddar cheese. Bake in a 350Β° oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes before serving.
