Chili-Cheese Bites
Chili-Cheese Bites is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. fine saltine cracker crumbs, 6 tbsp. margarine, melted, 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 1 tsp. taco seasoning and 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 400°.
Bring cheeses to room temperature. Combine crumbs and margarine in an 8-inch square pan.
Press onto the bottom and up the sides of the pan, forming a crust.
Bake for 10 minutes and set aside.
Reduce oven heat to 250°.
In a large mixing bowl, blend cheeses at medium speed.
Add cayenne and garlic.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in chilies and onion.
Pour into prepared crust and bake 1 hour until set.
Cool and cut into 1-inch squares.
Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
Makes 64 bite sized appetizers.
