Chili
Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. hamburger, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 large onions, 1 large green pepper and 1/2 tsp. each: garlic, nutmeg and oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Brown beef and drain.
Add oil, garlic, onions, green pepper and other spices except chili powder.
Add these ingredients to a large pot after steaming in a skillet.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and chili powder.
Stir in beans, cloves and bay leaves (drain kidney bean juice).
Cook at least 1 hour; the longer it cooks, the better it is.
