Chickeny Collard Greens
Chickeny Collard Greens is an easy dinner. Made with 2 bunches collards, 2 cans campbell's chicken broth, 3 to 4 cloves sliced garlic and 2 cans water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Chop off stalk end of the collards and pull leaves apart. Fill sink with cold water; add 2 drops of mild dish detergent. Clean and thoroughly rinse collards.
Chop collards in bite size pieces.
In a large Dutch oven, pour chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil.
Add collards, garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Cook, covered, on low heat until tender and the color is dark green.
