Chicken with Mushroom Gravy
Chicken With Mushroom Gravy is an easy dinner. Made with 1 fryer chicken, cut up (2 to 3 lb. chicken), 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 tbsp. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Wash and soak chicken in bowl of salted water for at least 20 minutes.
Dip chicken pieces in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and spices (oregano, thyme, basil, etc.).
Brown chicken in skillet, but don't cook it.
Place chicken in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Mix soup (2 cans), water, onion and enough of remaining flour mixture so it will thicken.
Pour over chicken and bake at 300Β° for 1 hour.
