Chicken Tetrazzini
Chicken Tetrazzini is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, 1 c. sliced, fresh mushrooms, 1 small onion, thinly sliced, 1/4 c. butter or margarine and 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and set aside.
Saute mushrooms and onion in butter in a large saucepan until tender.
Add flour, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper; stir well.
Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add broth and Velveeta cheese.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.
Add cream and stir until smooth. Stir in chicken and cooked spaghetti.
Place in a greased 2-quart casserole and bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes.
