Chicken Stroganoff
Chicken Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cut up chickens, 1 c. flour, 1 tsp. paprika, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix flour and seasonings together.
Roll chicken in flour. Keep remaining flour for later.
Melt butter; brown chicken in butter.
Add more butter if needed.
Remove chicken; add mushrooms and fry for 5 to 8 minutes.
Remove mushrooms; drain and set aside. Pour remaining drippings into baking dish.
Add chicken, skin side up.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove chicken.
Put on warm platter.
Pour drippings from pan into cup; let fat rise to top.
