Chicken Stew
Chicken Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 fryer, about 3 c. hot broth, hot pepper, black pepper and salt to taste, 2 medium onions and about 2 c. whole milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Boil fryer until tender and remove meat from bone.
Save broth from cooked chicken.
With a food chopper, grind chicken meat and return to about 3 cups hot broth with hot pepper, black pepper and salt to taste.
Grind onions; add about 2 cups whole milk and margarine to broth and chicken.
Bring chicken and broth to a boil.
Remove from heat, add crackers (crumbled) to thicken the stew.
