Chicken-Rice Casserole
Chicken-Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 lb.) fryer, cut up, salt and red pepper, 1 c. raw rice, washed, 1 can onion soup and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Season chicken; brown in small amount of shortening.
Remove skin.
Place rice in bottom of a buttered casserole.
Mix water and onion soup; pour over rice.
Place chicken on rice, pour chicken soup over chicken and cover.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
