Chicken Primavera
Chicken Primavera is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. oil, 3/4 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips, 1 c. broccoli flowerets, 1 c. thawed frozen green peas and 1 carrot, cut into julienne strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oil in large skillet; add chicken.
Cook and stir until browned.
Add broccoli, peas, carrot and onion.
Cook and stir until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Stir in broth, basil and pepper.
Bring to boil. Stir in rice.
Return to boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Stir in cheese.
