Chicken Picante
Chicken Picante is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. medium hot chunky taco sauce, 1/4 c. dijon mustard, 2 tbsp. lime juice, 6 boneless, skinned chicken breasts and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In large bowl, combine taco sauce, mustard and lime juice; mix well.
Add chicken, turning to coat; marinate for 30 minutes.
In large heavy skillet, melt butter until foamy.
Remove chicken from marinade; fry until browned on all sides, turning frequently.
Add remaining marinade; cook about 5 minutes longer, until chicken is fork-tender.
Remove chicken, boil marinade 1 minute and spoon over chicken.
Place 1 tablespoon sour cream on top of each piece; top with lime segment.
