Chicken Parmigiana
Chicken Parmigiana is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. dry italian bread crumbs, 2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese, 3/4 tsp. italian seasoning (mccormick), 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine first 4 ingredients in a shallow bowl.
Dip each chicken breast in beaten egg, then roll in bread crumb mixture to coat evenly.
Place chicken on a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
Bake in preheated 375Β° oven for 15 minutes.
Turn chicken over.
Bake 15 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Spoon tomato sauce over chicken.
Sprinkle cheese over top.
Bake 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
