Chicken Parmesan
Chicken Parmesan is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup, 1/4 c. water, 1/4 c. chopped onion and 1/2 tsp. basil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Beat egg and one tablespoon water.
Roll chicken in egg, then in bread crumbs.
Brown in skillet with the small amount of shortening.
Stir in soup, one-quarter cup water, onion and seasonings.
Cover and cook on low heat about 30 minutes or until done.
Stir occasionally.
Sprinkle with cheese; heat until cheese melts.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
Add additional oregano if desired.
