Chicken New Orleans
Chicken New Orleans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 6 boneless chicken breasts, 4 to 5 green onions, chopped, 2 tbsp. cooking sherry, 1/4 c. butter and couple tbsp. oil and 1 clove garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Salt and pepper chicken.
In a skillet, brown chicken in butter and oil; remove from skillet. Sauté onion and garlic in remaining oil and butter.
Add remaining ingredients; stir thoroughly.
Add chicken and spoon sauce over chicken.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Serve with long grain or wild rice.
