Chicken-n-Dressing Casserole
Chicken-N-Dressing Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 4 large chicken breasts or 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned stuffing mix and 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook chicken in boiling water until tender.
Remove from broth.
Strain broth, reserving 2 2/3 cups.
Bone chicken and cut into small pieces.
Combine chicken soup with half the broth; mix well.
Combine mushroom soup with remaining broth; mix well. Combine stuffing mix and butter; reserve 1/2 cup for garnish.
