Chicken Marengo
Chicken Marengo is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup, 1 can mushroom soup, 3 lb. chicken parts, 3 tbsp. shortening and 1 lb. (about 16) small white onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In a large skillet, brown chicken in shortening.
Pour off fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until tender.
