Chicken Corn Chowder
Chicken Corn Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 chicken, 2 bay leaves, 1/2 c. or 1 medium onion, 1/2 c. green pepper and 2 c. diced potatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Boil chicken with the bay leaves, onions and bell pepper until chicken is done.
Add the potatoes (can leave skin on) to the broth from chicken.
Cook until potatoes are tender.
Add 1/2 cup milk and flour.
Cook 5 minutes.
Add 1 1/2 cups hot milk and both cans of corn.
Cook this about 5 to 10 minutes.
Stir to keep from sticking.
Serve with corn bread or Ritz crackers.
