Chicken Cordon Bleu
Chicken Cordon Bleu is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 whole chicken breasts, boned and halved, 4 thin slices ham, 4 slices swiss cheese, 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Fold ham around cheese slices; tuck in each pocket of chicken breast.
Melt butter.
Mix bread crumbs, salt and paprika.
Roll stuffed chicken in melted butter, then in crumbs to coat well. Place in a single layer in buttered baking dish.
Bake in hot oven at 400Β° for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
Baste if you wish. Can be prepared and frozen.
