Chicken-Cheese Chimichangas
Chicken-Cheese Chimichangas is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 1/2 c. shredded cooked chicken and 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Saute onion and garlic powder in oil in skillet until tender.
Add chicken. Cook over low heat until heated through.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1 cup cheese. Separate roll dough into rectangles; press perforations to seal. Spread 1/2 cup salsa to within 1/2 inch of edges.
Spoon 1/3 cup chicken mixture onto half of each rectangle.
Roll up and pinch sides.
Bake 16 to 21 minutes.
Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese on top. Melt it.
Serve with remaining items.
