Chicken Casserole
Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. chicken breasts, flour, 3 oz. can mushrooms, 1 tsp. paprika and 1 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cube the meat from raw chicken breasts.
Roll in flour.
Heat 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet and brown meat well on all sides.
Add mushrooms (drained).
Remove from heat.
Add paprika and blend.
Combine onion soup, sour cream and water.
Pour over meat.
Pour into casserole; cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Bake at 375Β° for 45 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
