Chicken Breasts Supreme
Chicken Breasts Supreme is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 fryer breasts, boned, 1/4 c. lemon juice, 4 tsp. celery salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 2 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cut breasts in half; dry well with paper towels.
In large bowl, combine all other ingredients (except bread crumbs, butter and shortening).
Add chicken to mixture, coating each piece well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Next day, preheat oven to 350Β°. Roll chicken in crumbs and put in baking dish.
Melt butter and shortening together.
Spoon half over chicken.
Bake 45 minutes. Spoon remainder of butter mixture over chicken and bake 15 minutes longer until brown.
