Chicken Almondine
Chicken Almondine is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. skinless, boneless, cooked chicken, drained, 1 c. cream of chicken soup, 8 oz. water chestnuts, 4 oz. mushrooms and 2/3 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Saute celery and onion in margarine.
Combine sauteed mixture with shredded, cooked chicken, chicken soup, water chestnuts, mushrooms, mayonnaise and sour cream.
Pour in prepared 10 x 15-inch pan.
Top with Swiss cheese, crescent rolls, melted margarine and almonds.
Bake at 375Β° until heated through and crescent rolls are brown.
